a little late but... i started my degree with zero knowledge of programming languages ( i knew a little html and thought it was a language), 1st year was hard (intro to C class looked like gibberish) but anyone who chooses the course for the right reasons will do well these days, resources are readily available and sites like this one do exist. Its all a matter of what goal you set
