I don't actually know what happened, but I'm glad it's gone. Most of the administrators of the project haven't been active on here in a while. Plus, the quality of a lot of the articles was debatable, which was sad, since the goal was to replace the existing FAQ because "the code sucks." (It really doesn't.) There was little quality control. It went through an awful period where it was Elysia's pet project as well. The best articles involved discussions on here though.

I am sad because it means everyone has to repeat every little thing all the time. There doesn't seem to be a way to update the existing FAQs and who the heck quality controls them anyway? Something is better than nothing.

Outside of your DOS world, your header file is meaningless.

I did it by emailing webmaster. When I did, he was fairly responsive and had lots of good suggestions for changes. Mostly it was for clarity and such, not sure how carefully he was checking for errors, inaccuracies or omissions.

The de facto QC mechanism (at least for the last few FAQ articles written) seems to be posting your articles to the general discussions board and leaving them open for comment. Most likely, it will only be the regulars who ever look at that board or bother getting involved in such a thread. For example:
