Is it possible to learn to read human's mind?

Sometimes you want to read human's thoughts. Has anyone heard where it is possible to learn it? I am sorry if this question is not related to the topic.

My adamantium skeleton doesn't allow thought rays to escape my brain bucket. One can dream, though.

There might be a Lisp module that can do it.

If you're asking how to read minds because you want to have fun with some folks, I recommend getting into magic; learn to play card tricks or other parlor tricks. You can learn how to force the audience to make things go your way and pretend to be a psychic. Youtube can teach you some things in that area. That's about as far as we've come. The exact nature of consciousness is still a mostly unanswered question in psychology and neuroscience. You can't learn to control what you don't understand.

Sometimes, we need to learn to control something before we can understand it.

    O_O

I had thought "just another dumb post", but you have me worried.

Is a spam bot really trying to learn to read a human's mind?

I wouldn't worry, I don't think that could really happen.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to click on this "Uncouth coffee-drinking C-programming wenches with insane math skills who like to debate and despise popular media" ad that just popped up.

I guess that learning to read our minds would be just a transitory step to directly injecting spam into our minds.

You're on to something... When you upload/learn how to do Kung-Fu for free (a la Matrix), you also learn that Maxwell House is the coffee you want buy, and that Jiffy Lube is the place you want to get your oil changed at.

    We did
Right 98% of the time, and don't care about the other 3%.

If I seem grumpy or unhelpful in reply to you, or tell you you need to demonstrate more effort before you can expect help, it is likely you deserve it. Suck it up, Buttercup, and read this, this, and this before posting again.
