I have. UEFI has nothing to do with secure boot.
Edit: Are you suggesting we just sit back and accept Windows as a "standard"?

That question is entirely irrelevant. I defy you. Windows has nothing to do with the UEFI specification in itself (which btw includes secure boot -- "nothing to do with it" indeed).Edit: Are you suggesting we just sit back and accept Windows as a "standard"?
