I was not aware that Mac requires any specific language
All problems in computer science can be solved by another level of indirection,
except for the problem of too many layers of indirection.

mac OSX typically uses Objective-C, and the GUI framework they use is called Cocoa. you can use lots of languages, including C and C++ to write code for mac, but it's usually done with Objective-C. apple provides a free IDE for OSX, called XCode. it's included on the OSX install disc.
What can this strange device be?
When I touch it, it gives forth a sound
It's got wires that vibrate and give music
What can this thing be that I found?

I don't know, in fact, I'm pretty sure nobody knows. It has been suggested that the first macintosh program was actually found in ancient egyptian hieroglyphs in the 1920s (yes, there was a secret government controlled mac available at the time, well before its official release).
I'm not immature, I'm refined in the opposite direction.
