I am not aware of anywhere in the US where property taxes are nonexistent. But in fact low taxes and corruption explain some of the problems with our ........ty public schools. Granted, that is a pretty flaky statement about quality and would probably crumble under light scrutiny.
I'd like a new TV, but CRTs last 30 years and new ones don't.
This is going to be so useful for repairing all those silly bits of plastic which hold together so much of the modern world, but which seem to break given any opportunity to do so.
Is there a similar 3D scanner that can be used to input such data to begin with?

3D scanners do exist, but they are still fairly behind compared to 3D printers (resolution, price, size etc).
If you have a caliper, most small parts are easy to CAD, though.

How's the job market?
I thought about Alaska, but the idea of dealing with permafrost was a turn-off. I don't mind the arid environment as much, just need some drinking water (I wouldn't need much). I'm thinking of Northern Texas honestly.
