    smart questions

The how to ask questions the smart way link led me off on a magical mystery tour today - pun intended if you get it- many amazing pages of essays and thinking i connected to from it - here's a great one, with some funny stuff depending on your particular experiences as a programmer, clearly quite old, but the messages remain:

    Thought for the day:
"Are you sure your sanity chip is fully screwed in sir?" (Kryten)
FLTK: "The most fun you can have with your clothes on."

    Stroustrup:
"If I had thought of it and had some marketing sense every computer and just about any gadget would have had a little 'C++ Inside' sticker on it'"

If memory serves me right, Prelude used to link to that in her signature. That's how I first got introduced to it.

A fun read which is at the same time highly advisable for its educational content.
