What websites do you ONLY visit in work?

I'd hate to sound like the guy that's just always on the internet screwing around in the work place, but the reality is that in my current position sometimes there is a lot of down time. Additionally, I have the luxury of being in a job that allows me to work remotely from home about 50% of the time. This brings me to notice the fact that there are just some things I seem to check on the internet in work and nowhere else. I'm talking about websites I genuinely enjoy going to in work, I just seem to not bother when I'm working from home or on days I don't work. I don't know why it is that I only visit them in work... in some circumstances I'd say I have more fun reading these sites than other things I end up doing when I'm not working. So why...? Maybe it's just me, but I was curious to know if anyone else experiences this. Can anyone think of websites that they only seem to visit when they're in work?

    Here are some of mine:

    www.cracked.com
    www.wired.com
    www.slickdeals.net

Wow, you have lenient website filters in your office.

xkcd I read on my phone normally. The other two I have no shot getting into in the office... anything with the word "game" in it is almost always inaccessible.

Well admittedly college internet is more lenient on filtering and I usually finish my labs early.

I am allowed access to all the sites listed so far. But all blogs & social-networking sites are blocked where I work. Even they used to be accessible back some time until the management decided to close them to "improve" productivity. Can't say I complain much as I frequent only very few tech blogs & almost zero social-networking sites.

Haha, i remember the good ole days in an old workplace, working on support, practically carte blanche on internet access, full admin and download rights, I actually learnt a lot of programming there too cos when i wasnt on a call i was working on a project, designing my sprites everything! On cBoard etc, Totally unrelated to the work - I used to batter miniclip games and binned plenty of support calls cos was just about to beat that next level, and we had a bit of a craze for this game And also another on i cant find now where you have to get your square out of the way of another one that follows you around - highest time wins.dear o dear, then we were also watching films when it was really quiet, and also sports streams, i suppose its no surprise half the contracts were ended including mine - slightly overstaffed maybe!

Now i just dont use the internet in work for anything other than work, the odd bit of ebay or shopping, but apart from that there are no sites i could point out exclusive to work 'downtime' - its an interesting question tho.
