    Cool Curious tornado question

What's the strongest tornado that ever picked up someone and thrown him or her or them but he or she or they landed and survived that you or anyone else or both heard of?

If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

There's a story of a Depression-era Kansas child (named D. Gale) whose whole house was picked up by a freak tornado and dropped in an unspecified place. The child survived, but that's more than can be said for the poor old women the house fell upon. To add insult to injury, the child then proceeded to steal the elderly lady's silver shoes and was last seen making her getaway along a Yellow Brick road...

    Here's a review of it.

Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the ..first woman she meets, then teams up with three complete strangers to kill a..gain.

Unsubstantiated rumors of ruby red slippers have circulated from time to time (mostly in film), but that claim that has been vehemently denied by the Wizard of Carat, who insists that he has never known of any man by the name of William Jennings Bryan and moreover that he "...could care less about the man's political leanings, in any case".

Tornadoes get my vote for scariest weather event/natural disaster. I'm probably biased because I live close to Tornado Alley. Nevertheless, they look like a great howling demon from hell, and if they hit a town it's basically like it got blown up by a bomb. Not a fan, really.
I made a pair of "Braille Gloves" which have 6 vibration motors in six finger tips and vibrate in the relevant patterns. I have used this to read stuff while out walking. Given there is a fairly well defined programmer-oriented Braille encoding I should imagine it would work in this situation. Diagrams could be a pain still.

Note: I am not blind but have learnt Braille fairly easily so for me it works quite well

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this while driving yet...
