Thread: Upgraded to vBulletin 4.1.10

I just upgraded the forum to vBulletin 4.1.10. It's supposed to contain quite a number of bug fixes. I also took the opportunity to fix a couple of niggling style issues (such as fixing the borders for many of the header boxes).

One of the fixes is for VB-13545, which caused some bad behavior when using the cursor in edit boxes in FF8.

Please let me know if you are experiencing any new issues (or if old issues that are continuing to be problematic).

(If you do run into trouble, please try doing a hard refresh with Ctrl-F5 first.)

For some reason, on Chrome on Linux, posting always becomes an attempted double post. I would always get the page that comes up and says "you have to leave 15 seconds before posting again, 14 seconds remaining" or something to that effect, whenever I post a reply to a thread.

Does this happen for you on any other browser on Linux? Did you try doing a hard refresh with Ctrl-F5 (not sure why that would matter, but just in case...)

Do you see this when using Quick Reply, when starting a new thread, when you "go advanced" or in all cases?

(For what it's worth, I'm posting this with Chrome 16 on Win7, and I didn't see the problem when posting as a quick reply.)

EDIT: That went fine. I can also edit, which I couldn't do in Chromium as well (the circle thing just keeps going and never opens the edit box). I guess it's just Debian's Chromium being weird, then.

hxx is the same as hpp just rename your files.

technically this works for zips as well as long as you make it clear in the post, though explicit support would be nice.

I've enabled upload for hpp and zip files. I couldn't find a good justification in the past for why zip files were removed.

@Elysia What device are you using? The "Full Site" links works for me on iOS 5. I added a link to the "New Posts" search at the bottom of the mobile style (that was the most obvious place to insert it)

I'd still like to see better contrast in the source highlighting box. Well, I'd like to see a better colors in general. ^_^

And trying to switch to full theme doesn't work--it just redirects back to mobile theme.

I have a few "Android" devices. I get the same problem on my mom's phone if I don't specifically add an exception in the browser for CBoard.

The edit control is much better, however, it still has the duplicate text problem. Give me some time and I will report back some steps to reproduce so others can see if it happens on their machines.
