    Upgraded to vBulletin 4.1.9

This release includes only mobile style updates, so unfortunately it doesn't fix some of the scrolling issues with Firefox that are due out in 4.1.10. My understanding is that 4.1.10 will be out relatively soon.

The mobile style in 4.1.9 should be much faster (it definitely felt subjectively faster).

As always please let me know if you run into any new (or old) issues!

(Old Issue: ) The "What's New" page seems to miss some(not all) recent posts and shows posts modified a few hours back.
I used to rely on that button heavily....now I just have to open the 4 places I visit in tabs and refresh.

Hmm, that's strange. Do you know when this started? A few weeks (months?) ago, I changed the server settings to do a better job of tracking exactly what posts you've actually read. It used to be cookie-based and have a timeout that would cause all items to be marked read after a certain period of time. Now the DB stores all view information correctly (in theory). Is it possible that you were relying on the old, buggy behavior?

About a month, AFAI remember.(Could be more, but not less)
But the old behaviour seemed to be more consistent and useful.
(Also, it works right when accessed for the first time in a session, but messes up after that.)

I've always felt the board just sometimes chooses randomly between the quick edit and full edit when editing a post.
Sometimes is allows edits inline, and other times it just redirects you to the full editor. What's up with this?

Also, it would be appreciated if the board could stop marking all threads as read after a certain period of time. Even better would be if it stopped showing certain unread threads after a time. Take an example of what would be nice...
You use the view new posts on day A. You leave in the middle because you don't have time to view all the posts. Returning at day A + 1, all the posts have now disappeared from the view new posts view. It would nice if this did not happen. The only way around it is to simply not visit the board until you have the time to look through all the posts.

@ manasij I'm confused, why would you want the forum to randomly time out the articles you've read, rather than keep track of exactly what you have or have not read? If you want to mark everything as read at a particular point in time, you can always use "Mark Forums Read" (e.g. from "New Posts")

@Elysia I've never run into the behavior of random redirections to the full editor. What browser are you using? Also, regarding unread threads: maybe may last post wasn't clear, but the forum is indeed no longer marking threads as read after a period of time. It should be keeping track of exactly what you read. It doesn't stop showing certain unread threads, but "What's New"/"New Posts" will show you what has been added to since your last visit to the forum.

(By the way, did you know that Alt-1 and Alt-2 switch between forum view and "new post" view? I just learned this!)

Ah, maybe I read your post wrongly. In any case, that's wonderful. Thanks a lot for that.
As for browser, I am using Firefox 8 (although 4.4 should really be its real version number).
