Until finally, in AD 2246, the United States will be re-absorbed by the British Empire -- if everything goes according to plan.

India's "independent" status is different from that of the US since it was granted, and Elizabeth II is still the Queen there, as she is in all Commonwealth nations. I don't know if that's as rich a source of humour there as it is here in Canada. I love the USA but it's a shame they don't have a royal family. You don't know what you are missing. Honestly.
    C programming resources:
GNU C Function and Macro Index -- glibc reference manual
The C Book -- nice online learner guide
    Current ISO draft standard
CCAN -- new CPAN like open source library repository
    3 (different) GNU debugger tutorials: #1 -- #2 -- #3
cpwiki -- our wiki on sourceforge

Not really, we're busy making fun of ourselves and our own government.

It's not a shame, we have our own congress of baboons. Old baboons, too. Remember, the internet is a series of tubes.

Actually we have a congress of donkeys and elephants but I would not be opposed to switching that to a universal baboon symbol since it so aptly applies to both. Remember, Al Gore invented those tubes.
