Having now gleefully overstated the obvious...

    Welcome to the forums.

    >> once you go 'tech' you never go back.

Is this one of those auto-motivational sessions programmers do to compensate the fact we often leave real-life behind? Do we also need to start high-fiving each other? I'd rather not.

Anyways, it's highly debatable. But regardless, that's definitely not a programmer-only characteristic; It's human and it's called progress.

Then I shall gleefully disrespect this most useless and pointless thread.
Besides, there are better places on this board for drunk posting, though I suspect you'll never find them.

I didn't say that nobody can find it, I was just referring to the OP. They strike me as the type of person who can't figure things out very well. Though my judgment is admittedly premature, I'm going with instinct on this one.

Wow... aren't we the humour deficient lot?

It was a joke people... a take off the old (and racist) "once you go black you never come back" from the 1960s.

I understood the post, and I have a great sense of humor. I suppose this just wasn't my own personal flavor of "humor." I personally enjoy humor with wit and context. I also have a fond appreciation for offensive jokes.

Speaking of being presumptuous... only your fourth post here, are you're already calling someone a dick?

Anyways, welcome to Cboard! A programmers heaven for anyone interested in programming.

But try not to post while drunk. And do follow similar rules as you would in life. Specifically, do not barge into an ongoing party where you know no one, but expect everyone to know you.

Well since the name calling has already commenced I'd say we are done here.
