dungeon siege 3 coming out at the end of the month yay! gotta have it!
i realize that it takes a team to produce such a game so i was wondering what kind of server equipment would it take to host a huge game ? the game lets you host a game from your computer. was thinking more like the extremely high number of player type games. what kind of cost to do so ?
would assume that it would take multiple broadband lines ? how many for some of these other large games ? do some of those companies rent office space or own their own buildings ?
i can barely scratch enough together to buy the game. just curious about how much profit they would make and what it would cost to produce such games.
