Some people just can't be fooled:

WNYC - The Brian Lehrer Show: SCOTUS Voting Law (April 01, 2010)

I actually fell for this...it made too much sense.

I still wonder whether that frogs-story on slashdot was an april fool's joke. It seemed to be one, even though it had been published two days early, I think.

Can't take anything seriously today, can you?

I guess this applies to those who may browse Wikipedia today as well:
"Owners of dogs will have noticed that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they will think you are god. Whereas owners of cats are compelled to realize that, if you provide them with food and water and shelter and affection, they draw the conclusion that they are gods."

How stupid is the news? My local news just reported that Google is changing it's name to Topeka. Get real. Even for an April Fool's joke, that's just awful. I'm not sure who's at fault here....

You haven't heard the half of it. This is because Topeka city council officially changed it's name a while back to "Google, Kansas" as part of some google related contest/publicity stunt.

Little known factoid: All the "666nn" US postal codes are in Topeka
