I don't know if moderators can delete threads. You may need to email the webmaster.

Which thread is it and why do you want it deleted?

If they do, I ask them to find the smallest example that exhibits the problem and send me that. Mostly, they then find the error themselves. "Finding the smallest program that demonstrates the error" is a powerful debugging tool.

We can, but unless it's inappropriate we usually don't. A lot of people want questions about their homework removed so no one else finds it, but obviously that defeats the whole purpose of the board.

He only created one thread other than this one. sean is probably correct in assuming that he wants the question removed because it is a homework assignment.

But since I started the thread and all, I wouldn't want people to copy my work =/. That is the reason I want it removed. I never got much help with my code anyway. Not like you guys helped me do my whole program 0_0. The program works just fine now so I want the thread removed =/.

Honestly, after that stunt you just pulled I'm seriously considering publishing your code all over the Internet, using your IPs to guess what school you go to, and contacting your school about what you just did.

Sean, it is way too bad that you cannot remove all the posts that were bad and put that puppy back up there in a CLOSED state. . . that way he doesn't win!!!

That's what happened - it just happens that without the posts in question, the thread is several pages old.

    Eh? Did I miss something?
Apparently when I said we only delete inappropriate threads, he thought I was telling him to make his thread as inappropriate as possible.
