I知 a bit in a confused state. I hope, I can get some input from you値l. Since, there are quite a lot of experienced folks down here.
I had been employed for past 9 months now and it been going good so far (don稚 know if I could say this). But I知 thinking of changing the job now. There are many reasons for it.
1. I really love to have a professional where I could use C or embedded C as my base tool. At the movement I'm not. But I employed saying that I値l be working on C (No where in the job spec said that I will be working on Prolog). And hence I accepted the offer. But its only after I started I came to know that I値l be working on Prolog only! Which was totally unprofessional.
2. The nature of my job is more like that I need to work over the weekend as well. Which I dint knew it before. But now I started realising that I need to. If not I will be forced to be worked (work from home). Which I知 not really happy about. Its like I知 always tensed over the weekend too, rather I need to be relaxed.
3. Managers are a bit hard on me. Like say if I don稚 do things over the weekend. The next day he would come and say that I'm not "reliable".
With all the above reasons, I was just thinking why shouldn稚 I move over and do something which I really enjoy. But what I am not sure about is that; am I doing the right thing in moving over. When the economy is so poor and the current firm is doing really good and me leaving and joining a different firm. Would you think I would be a fool if I do that or should I have to keep moving?
Please advice, I really need some input. Before I get destroyed
