During a uni project we used the library FANN (fast artificial neural network) which was a nice library to work with back-propagation networks. Written in C. There seems to be a C++ wrapper too, haven't used it though.

thank u guys for the links, i just started with AI and been looking for tutorials. I'm sure the ones you shared would help.
Back in my humble community college days at Lehigh County Community College they used to have some AI conversations. Some people went over to MIT from there who qualified. So if you are really into AI and think you have a gift talk to a counselor who's in the Computer Science department about taking a few courses.
Here are some good starting places:

The second link has lots of good resources listed.

Started research on Neural Networks and learning the basics in the last few days. Found these two channels interesting with good quality/explanations about AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc.
Also ordered the book by Ian Goodfellow. Really good for someone starting out (based on what I learnt from the first 2 chapters, it's very well explained). I did see quite a few videos on Deep Learning prior to starting reading this book so I had some idea about Neural Nets but for someone who has no idea about it, this is a pretty good book tbh.
