    3ds models

    Hy,

    Anyone knows where i can find 3ds models for free? I need to find a fireman car and i can't find

    You could go to Google's 3D Warehouse, download a SketchUp model, (and download SketchUp too, if you don't have that - everyone should - unless you're running *nix, and then nevermind) and then export as 3DS.

    if i convert the models they come up with 2mg of size how can i do for them have 500k?

    Here are your options:
    • Reduce the polygons, AKA, reduce the level of detail.
    • Remove the textures, or use textures that are not so "heavy"
    • Find a different model that is not so big
    • Draw your own

    The SketchUp community is a friendly bunch (just like here). If you ask how to make a model smaller, they can walk you through it. I'm sure the 3DS community is helpful as well.
