Yeah.. but its just the compiler commonly used in the industry. But if you mean how do they make such a game, its done by dozens of programmers with years of experience using C++, DirectX/OpenGL, etc. and happens to be compiled in VS. The compiler has almost nothing to do with it.

It must be that time of the year when they all come out of the wood work

Bubba, we're the l337 uber game programmers. I mean, clearly we possess abilities far beyond those of mere mortals. Think of all the work I put into that post above, I mean, evidently only the elite coders have the proper x-ray depleted uranium goggles required to see the stickies with tons of game programming related information.
Am I right? Am I right? huh huh?
and no I dont' really think i'm an elite coder...but anything divided by zero is infinity.

No we are not elite, but we can read. Hint to others: Reading is perhaps the biggest tool you can use in game programming and guess what......it's free.
Read? You suck.

Yeah I know. Sorry there's no magical 'make me a game programmer pill' that just does it for you.
Whaaa, I've got to get my supplier on the line.Originally Posted by Bubba

Eh, thats not very likely. I think we have something like 1/1000th deaths per year vs. America.Originally Posted by BobMcGee123

latest stats from World Health Statistics
Code:1.03. Probability of dying (per 1000) between ages 15 and 60 years (adult mortality rate) -> Female Canada 57 U.S. 82 1.03. Probability of dying (per 1000) between ages 15 and 60 years (adult mortality rate) -> Male Canada 93 U.S. 139
They lie!
Doh. It was probably more deaths in a America that I heard on that Moore doc, which makes sense because it also says theres something like 7x higher population. Or maybe it was more likely to be shot and killed in America... I forget. Doesn't matter anyway, he eggs people on and bends the truth sometimes.
