    Does GLUT have an interface?

I thought I saw somewhere that it does...

I compiled the source code, but I need to redo it because I set the unzip utility to extract to C:\glut-3.7.6-src so of course now my stuff is in C:\glut-3.7.6-src\glut-3.7.6-src ...LOL...

SO... I'm wondering if anyone has some n00b caveats to impart.
    Uhmmm, is there an uninstall?
Does compiling things affect the registry?

What should I watch out for, tips on simple things that would normally be self-evident, or any mistakes that others have made...

Oh, and of course, is there a GLUT interface?

GLUT is a library, there is no interface.
