How do you cut and pasted vertices? I keep trying to duplicate them, but then it puts them in the exact same spot as the vertices that were already there, and I cannot move them independently of each other.

nevermind i found a way
I'm having yet another problem. I'm applying a texture to a bunch of triangles, but it just shows up as a solid color (im in texturing viewing mode and the bitmap has 256 by 256 dimensions). Please help
