    any weaknesses of milkshape3d

I plan on using milkshape3d for my primary model format. It seems to be a very good 3d modelling program, but are there any distinct weaknesses it has? I've also looked into gmax, in fact I've found a .gmax to .md3 exporter so I could make things in gmax, export to .md3, import into milkshape 3d and export to .ms3d. Cheating is sweet

    Well, uhm, yeah! Like totally!

There's no triangle strips or fans, just straight triangles.

that's the only thing I could find on my own as well. It seems, however, that that isn't such a big deal, I mean it would be very useful to have triangle strips, but all of the vertices are in a heap, and then the triangles index into that array, and then the meshes index into the triangle array, and it still ends up being an efficient system. I also found you can make up to 10Kpolygon models with milkshape (which is more than can possibly be used) and up to 256 frames for animation per model. Yep I'm pretty satisfied with milkshape. I counted 57 different modeling programs, but none seem to have anything special over the others, they all work in basically exactly the same way, although some have different uses (i.e not all are used for games).
