    Now that I have figured out sound,

    Does anyone know where I can find good .wav files of war like sounds. I am lookign for stuff for a Battleship game.

    don't know if this will help, but if your local library carries cds, take a look there.. mine has about 15 cds full of just sound effects. never checked them out, though i might in the future... you'll have to find a program to convert the tracks to .wav though.

    www.a1freesoundeffects.com has some decent sound effects and plus you can buy the profeesional quality cd if the free sounds aren't good enough for you.
