i want to start game programming

i want to start game programming and want to know where i can find some tutorials on the nert to get started. i have visual c++ 6 and i'm told mode 13h want work on it. can some tell me what will and where i can find some tutorials to get started.please

Personally i would start with learning some win32 code and some gdi functions. This wont help much for fast action programs but a little later when you come to work with directx or opengl you will be very thankful for starting with win32. When you have the basics down for creating a window and responding to messages then have a look at opengl to start with as its easier to use than directx. Go here for the best opengl tuts ive seen
