Here it is: Xtreme Fight 1.0 !

Play the newest and last version of Xtreme Fight. Here are just some of the features that are included:

--All new enhanced difficulty: Difficulty level has been tweaked so that it's not to hard for beginners, yet not too hard for masters, providing the perfect challenge.

--All new "Battle Mode": Fight your way through a series of enemies as you earn points.

--New surprises in gameplay like the Night Demon Challenge: During a point in the game a creature called Night Demon may want to fight you for a certain amount of money.

--All new enemies and bosses, like Gargoyle and Flame.

--Intriguing introduction story captures your imagination and gets you really into the game as you play the role of...well, you, and try to defeat the Dark Lord and restore peace to the lands.

--Buy as many potions as you want at a time, instead of the old frustrating way of using it and then buying another one.

--BONUS! Mini-game called "Bob's Lost" included! This small little game will have you playing it for hours of non-stop fun, just in case if you get bored with the game (I hope not )

    Hehe...This is my little advertisement.
Like always, please include your thoughts and comments. Maybe on a scale of 1-10, 10 being highest, how did you like it?

^I really want to do graphics, and looking foward to it, but can't because I'm a beginner. I'm still learning the basics and fundamentals of the C++ laungauge.

I reckon your doing great with your text stuff
And i think that you have enough knowledge to be able to use Allegro. Take a look at it. It is rather easy to learn, and you can impress yourself rather quickly, if you put a little effort in

^Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. Ever wonder why I didn't give out the source code for the game? [hint: It looks baaad]. And I have tried allegro. Too many questions, didn't understand it. Lot's of people advised me to take it slower and understand the basic concepts of C++ first. And they were right. I'm now in a beginners C++ class at my school, and that's helping me alot. I really don't know as much of the launguage as you might think.

Maybe you should try fixing up your source
You could even release it, and get some help from those who like to help
Anyway, take a look at loomsoft.net, and read their newbie tutorial. Don't worry about downloading allegro first. Have a read though the examples and see if you can understand it. They explain it very simply and clearly, and i recommend it to you.
But if you really wanna stay with text, then keep at it! Your doing better than themany people who never even finish their games, so keep it up!

    Hehehe...

Hehehe...already done. I've looked at loomsoft's newbie tutorials before...They are pretty easy and clear, I have to admit, but it's only a library, that's all it is.

Why wander off into the darkness trying to understand a library, when don't even understand the luanguage to begin with?

Like my wise master has taught me:

"One must learn how to milk the cow before he can drink the milk"
Hehe...actually I just made that up

This is weird...I'm arguing with you guys that I'm dumber than you say I am. Shouldn't it be the reverse?

I was expecting DirectX. But heck, a game's a game, especially an RPG one (is that what this one is? I haven't tried it yet). And to make a decent RPG is pretty impressive too
    Just Google It. √

And to make a decent RPG that has decent code is even more impressive.
