Question How to put text in graphic mode

How can I print a string with a variable (like in printf("hi %s",name)) using the graphics mods that graphics.h has?.

That header has outtext() and outtextxy() but you can show variables, it can only show strings.

If 'here' is pronounced as 'hear', why 'there' isnt pronounced as 'dear'??
