Well, when I play it I only get a blank black screen, however, the music does play in the background. Also, there is no way for me to escape the screen unless I close the program through ctrl+alt+del. I have DX8 runtimes installed, so that shouldn't be the problem. The only thing I can think of is that it is my exremely poor video card. I have 4mb Pro Rage Turbo 3D AGP Card (it goes something like that). My processor is a 500 mhz Celeron, and I have 384mb of RAM.
When I first got this computer...almost 2 years ago...it only had 32mb of RAM in it and a 4gb hard drive! Now imagine how much fun I used to have with it lol! I was going to buy a new PC a few weeks ago but instead I got ancy and bought an X-Box instead. Then again I did just buy a new 40gb hard drive a little over a month ago so I didn't feel like dealing with computers so soon. (hey, I have a job, I have no payment responsiblities, so I get to go buy whatever I want to. hehe).
