I'm attaching the files needed to test the first two parts of my
game's intro. It uses Direct Draw's Set/Get Gamma Ramp feature
to do fade-ins/fade-outs.
If you don't mind testing this (it's only about 10 seconds or so)
and posting your opinions on the fade-in/out timing I'd
really appreciate it.
You'll need DirectX 7 or higher to run it.
**I know the graphics for the second screenshot are kind of
"cheesy" and "cartoony", bear in mind these are pre-alpha
graphics (pretty much just place holders). Also, the music needs
work. I'm just learning how to write midi scores so I know I need
to polish the music up.**
Basically this demo just fades in to the studio logo then fades out
and fades in to what will be the first shot of the intro story
still screenshots. Finally it fades out of this and ends. The final
version will have accompanying text with each storyline still shot.
You opinions/thought/rants?
