I started doing batch files after I read a book, when I was like 5, and I wanted to do more.
Sorry, I can't help but break out in a tangent of uncontrollable laughter.

I fail to see how all this talking is relative to the subject it is now just a pointless post fest.

Sorry, I've never used allegro before. Ed's Dreamland was made strictly pixel plotting and beeping..thats it.
But maybe I could help you, as long as it's not all allegro code

well , i'm 14 and just starting C, then C++, and so on, so i think 12 is really good to be able to create a game with AI, i didn't have time to play it, but i will soon, so till then i say.... Go Xterria!

    Talking Congrats

I haven't seen your game, but i wanted to congratulate you for taking such major steps in improving your knowledge on programming. Don't let it get to your head...you probably are still a long way from doing anything serious. But i think age is insignificant in this new age of computer eras. What is important is what you've acomplished and how you've brought you're share of contributions to the human race and to improve this world. I'm not saying i'm some preacher or anything. The way i'm seeing things, it's more positive to be behind the scenes writing games than playing them. I never took much great interest in playing games, because for me it was the source behind them that got me... It was always just a bunch of polygons moving around a dark screen...
What would be nice is if you could get a group of "Kids" ( sorry to say that, cauze you probably are much more mature ) your age, and start working toghether on some project. Thoghether you could really do something nice.

    Have a nice day!
    Stef.

Ummm.. zer0python.. you dont know graphics programming yet you know openGL??? I really think you should maybe research on what you're claiming to know.. OpenGL is Graphics, I'm not trying to get into an argument just letting you know so you dont go around and get flamed by someone a bit less forgiving.
