    C++ and G3D

    C++ and G3D-g3derror-jpg

    Hello I have just bought a new laptop, and freshly installed visual studio 2010 and set up G3D. However when I build/compile the project the message in the picture attached pops up. I only tried to build one of the samples that came with the G3D download. This is very frustrating as I need this for college. If anyone has encountered this problem before or knows how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance

    We need to know specifically what video card your new laptop has in it. At the very least me need the make and specific model number of the laptop.

    You have either a driver issue or you have a video card that is not supported. Sometimes cards list that they can handle Shader4 yet they do not seem to work out well in reality.

    Give us that info and we can help you.
