    Direct Sound and AudioLab

    Can someone help me with understanding Direct Sound and
    AudioLab.NET4.3
    Where do I download the latest version of Direct Sound.
    I am trying figure out how to make a wavefile after I purchase
    a microphone. How do I use AudioLab with Visual Studio 2010 C++??

    No idea on audioLab. But direct sound is part of the directx api. Other "easier" sound libraries are irrklang, fmod, and OpenAL.
