What format do I need to pass as a colorvalue when assigning a DDraw color key in DX7. The only thing that I've tried that's worked is 0 (black) which is the only value that the book I'm studying lists.
What format do I need to pass as a colorvalue when assigning a DDraw color key in DX7. The only thing that I've tried that's worked is 0 (black) which is the only value that the book I'm studying lists.
How the colorkey (and all other colors also for that mather) are formated depends on you gfx-card and your screen resolution. There is something called colormask, and you should look it up, because it solves your problem. Now I don't have the DX7 sdk here, so I can look up more info for you.
