Thus we turn to legal contracts which specify what is to be done for what amount along with every other detail concerning the transaction. I would recommend this process for good friends, when it comes to any significant amount of money...

Just out of curiosity, why don't you do it yourself? You may find it much more rewarding. All the tools are free.

Professional Windows compiler: here or here.

Professional C/C++ tools: here, here, and here.

Professional 3D animation studio with real time physics engine: here.

Professional image manipulation and touch up program: here.

... that's more than enough to get you started.

    >we need a some programmers....

Who is "we"? Are you a company?

    >you will get paid from publication money

What is publication money? How do you make sure that you have enough money to pay the programmers willing to produce the software for you?

Remember that some, or perhaps, a lot of, the people on CProgramming are under 18 years.

Hmmm. It all sounds quit tricky.

What kind of engine is it (purely AI, 3D, isometric)? Do you already have the document specs done? What kinds of games do you plan on creating with this engine. Do you have a web site so we can take a look at your idea or perhaps post the specifics here. I'd be willing to help but I need the specifics. I'm not going to waste my time on somebody's "weekend project." I'd rather work on my own tile engine (currently under design).

I think you need a new catch name too (just my opinion).
If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, do the other trees make fun of it?

$75 per hour. 40 hours per week. With at least one other programmer and at least three graphics artist and we have a deal.
also there has to be an office or meeting place. Preferably offline

refer to my "beware of recruiters" thread.. hehe

this isn't going to work. Do some learning on your own and write your own stuff first before you go out expecting others to do it for you.
