    Thumbs up Direct3D Debugging problem...

This isn't a programming problem, but it's related.

I want to change the debug output level for Direct3D but it's grayed out. I went to Control Panel -> DirectX -> Direct3D, and the "Debug/Retail D3D Runtime" box is grayed and set to Retail Version, which is stopping me from changing the output level. Is there any way to un-gray this?

By the way, I've got DirectX 10 (Vista) installed but I'm programming with DirectX 9 if that helps.

    Thanks.

Well, if anyone ever has the same problem, I found out my problem: I had the DirectX 9.0 SDK installed instead of 9.0c. All fixed now, though!
