Which book do you recommend for C#?
I know C and have read some short tutorials on really basic stuff of C# and OOP.

If you know C then you can probably go straight to "Programming Visual C# 2005: The Language". That'll be more useful to you than a newbie book geared toward someone who has no programming experience.
Do a board search and you'll find lots of recommendations
Thanks, I mostly use Linux and Mono for development and I don't really want a Windows-VS geared book.
Is that the case with that one?
I already did a search, I only found a similar thread.
The name is deceptive. There's one small chapter on the IDE and everything else covers the language. If mono is mature enough to handle standard C#, that book is what you want.
