    Treeview images look odd

    I'm using the built-in SystemIcons.Application icon in a tree view, but it looks a bit odd. I think the top and left parts have been cut off. A picture is attached. What can I do to fix this?

    I'm guessing you've put the icon in an ImageList? Check you've set the color depth and image size properties accordingly (32bit and 16x16). If that doesn't work it could be that this icon doesn't have a correct 16x16 32 bit icon, perhaps try another?
