    >Spoken like a true moron.

Sorry, I don't think people without an informed oppinion can judge me. Go learn both, come back and repeat what you said. I will not dig out the same sample I used in the other threads again just because you are either to lazy to read or unable to comprehend what I wrote.
I delivered a proof-of-concept sample of why I think C# is better. You did nothing but waste space. Put up your own arguments, or show that mine are wrong. Namecalling is not the preferred method of discussion among sentient beings.

*g* well, I believe in the concept that when you say something, you should at least be able to deliver a hint that it's true. Fool probably knows this concept as "put up or shut up", but this sounds too much like his level. And I don't like his level of communication. Earlier on this board we discussed Java vs C# not only once but at least three times.

You will find an example of why I found Java to be nearly unusable for professional work here http://www.cprogramming.com/cboard/s...&threadid=4313

I discussed that in several threads. I delivered my oppinion along with code to explain my concept. I posted Data and my interpretation of it. Fool only put his brainfarts here. Personal oppinion without even a clue of understanding. He is entitled to his oppinion, but with his style of marketing it, his oppinions doesn't earn any respect from me. Anyone could have posted that. My mother, without any knowledge of programming, could have posted that.

Everyone has oppinions. Without facts to back it up, it's worthless chatting.

Actually I thought that that was a rather poor quality thread. I don't think that anyone here knows anything about .NET that could possibly help me in any way at all.

Although insults can get out of hand and it would be nice if they could be avoided, I don't think that trying to answer a question with babble is any better. Although if someone wants to fool themselves than I'm sure this is the place to do it. Unfortunately I have no heart to babble because I'm interested in money and knowledge, rather than being laid back and retired.

This board is a big disapointment because it became littered with babble, but possibly there might come real answers come the future.

I see C# as a language tied to .NET and more importantly .NET's servers. Anyway, I'm willing to set differences in opinion aside and concentrate on the .NET servers, the framework, and even C#, but probably will mostly use www.flashdaddee.com

The simple answer to this thread is that this is a C# board, not necessarily a good C# board, but one none the less. I don't think that the webmaster made great choices but it's not my problem.

uhh..Dean? Hate to burst your bubble but the board was YOUR IDEA. You wanted it hte most, and you got it. Now you're complaining about it? The fact is that most of the people here wouldn't touch C# with a 10-foot pole for some reason or another (mostly stupid ones..."But MS made it! It has to suck!") . The only people here I think that have any knowledge of C# here are me you and nvoigt.

I would start playing around with it, but I don't have the SDK, and I'm using Windows 98 (from my understanding you can't run the SDK on it). Oh well...maybe sometime in the future.

I don't have '98 anymore, but from what other people tell me, you can have the SDK running. You just can't get the IDE to work, so you will have to use the commandline compiler.

oic, well that would be okay I guess, the only other thing is the SDK download is massive, and my ISP cuts you off after 4 1/2 hours of being online. Can you get it on CD?

Yeah, you can order it from MS or find a store that has back issues of the September edition of MSDN magazine.

I think you aso get it free with a subscription to MSDN...not sure if that's true anymore though.

I had hard time to read all your comments folks.

What ever will happen to c# I hope all of us will benefit from it.
As some mentioned it is requested by employers very much so.
So could it be the time to expend our horizon.
Of course there is a diferent view point as it is a view from stable employed people and consultant that give their skills or money.
please guys do not be party taker but give professionel opinion.

In this group it is what we need.

    Appreciate your reading me

    Hay..
What you 3 doing over here? Stop fighting each other.

We can suggest another Board for Java. If there is no way, C# is the right one.

Xterria, from reading this thread, and the one nvoigt posted; it seems you're afraid of that which you don't understand.
