I know that there is a lot of documentation out there on configuration files and I have looked up and read as many as I could find. Just about every one of them speak of different methods of writing and retrieving settings from the xml config file. I just want to know the most direct way to write a setting to an xml config file. For instance, I have an integer x that I want to store in the config file under the xval node. Any ideas or suggestions on the most straightforward way to do that?????????????
