Honestly, the only thing I dislike about .NET is the fact you have to run IIS to use ASP.NET. If there was a project like Jakarta Tomcat for ASP.NET, I'd be on it like white on rice.
Once I can get a free software lineup, I'll start doing a lot more with .NET. I've already gotten my ASP.NET applications connecting to and using MySQL, now if I can get a free web server for Linux...
