C#... huh?

What is this "C#" stuff? What platform is it for? Is it a new langauge? Whats the difference with it and C/C++? Why would we use it?

and most important, how do we pronounce it?!

Yes it is a new language - it is pronounced C-Sharp. It is initially for the windows environment but there are ports for some unix platforms and it is likely to move to many other platforms.

All the other information you require can be found at google or even here .. which is the C# board.

Moved to the C# board...
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
Googleing for "what is c#" returned this page as first hit. It might help to go ask the creators of C#.

When in doubt, read the FAQ.
Then ask a smart question.
