The future is changing all the time. It's impossible to see more at this time.
Seriously, I hope it will replace those constructs, they are horribly clumsy compared to .NET components.

.NET Framework has no use for that GLUE to hold together different lang. modules. It will continue to support COM/ActiveX only for compatibility with older programs.
