Question Making my program look for a folder and if it exists, to list a word. (CMD)

I have tried making a program that searches for a directory and then lists a word if it exists. I have been working on this for roughly 2 hours. I tried using different things in ShellExecute but none of the things I try seem to work.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks in advanced.

(PS: This is for a command prompt program.)

You're going to have to be less vague than that. What did you try, what did it do, and how is that different from what you want to do?

There's a FAQ entry on searching directories, and directory structures.
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
