    I need help on a formula for this simple program.

    I need help on a formula for this simple program.

    I/P: the original price of an item (float or double) and the % off (discount)
    O/P: sticker price (price you will pay before taxes)

    Basically, this program needs to calculate the price of an item after discount.

    I can do this on a calculator, but it's hard for me to figure out how to write the formula for this program.

    I also need help on showing the $ on the user screen.
