    data format

    Hi is their any tutorials on data formats I want to have a better understanding on how to create your own new file format.

    You can make it up as you want it.

    If you want the file format to be completely portable, though, you have to set some ground rules. For example, issues like Endianness and the issue of sizes of various data types being different on various platforms will be some of the things you should consider.

    is their anything that I can read about file formats or at least look at someones script.
