Do you mean, from within a C++ program? Or how the low-level code works, moving the lasers and adjusting the speed etc?

I am not sure. I probably would like to access the data from within C++ and also try and design a copy program for my own use. I really do not know where to start.

I do know that I need to address the retreivial and storage of data on a disc.
