    read sectors using absread

    hi

i tried to access the data of the sector using absread for floppy disks but the data it reads is some garbage value........

can anybody tell me that the argument logical sector no in absread is the same that we have in the directory structure for each file i.e. starting cluster number...........

    How about showing some code?

Or mentioning which OS / Compiler you're using, though I'm guessing it's something really old (like turbo c) on something really new (like XP).
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
