unfortunately nog, due to basic security. The reason is this tactic would be immediatly employed by script kiddies and hackers worldwide and would seriously reduce security.
there is an option to run from current location but you have to get your visitors to 100% trust your source.
as alreday mentioned i think java is the key here
(and it kills me to say that!)

is it possible someone can tell me the java to get it to work? i'm not using this for a website or anything, its for a school project and the website's opened from my floppy disk
if you want to open the website from you floppy - why dont you just use a link. Create a new shortcut - its easier.
