    Angry serial port programming in vc++ and graphical interface

    hi guys,
    i am doing a project on telemedicine. I plan to acuqire digital input 4m a serial port /analog input at the joystick port and represent the varying voltage in the graphical form.Its possible to do it in VC++ but i want suggestion from u guys.I also want to extract the co-ordinates of the graph and save the data for future use.Do u think VC++ is suitable or should i go 4 java?Plz help me out.

    It really depends on the goals and requirements for the program. If there are no other considerations, use whatever language you are more familiar with.

    If you are new to both languages, Java might be easier when it comes to the GUI.

    let me tell u a bit abt ma project
    i am trying 2 get a digital input 4m the serial port and i want to represent this very signal in a graphjical form.I need to send the data to some other pc where i will get the same graph pattern using a similar user interface.Now suggest.
