Need some assistance

I am having some problems with very basic C++ coding. But rather than ask for specific help in some areas, I want to try and look for myself first. Could any one of you direct me to a site(s) where I might find basic tutorials? I am a complete newbie with C++ and want to start looking at simple but comprehensive sources.
